Since we begin in media res, I will tell you about Ivory White. I met her at a halloween party where despite the interference of her friend I charmed her – how, I cannot remember, having been too drunk at the time. Since then I’ve had her friends over for a dinner party, where we kissed on the balcony, and met her at a nightclub, the landing above which we used for a session of old fashioned heavy petting. On which more later. But that night she refused my invitation up. Yesterday she wanted to go out for coffee, which I declined. Today I invited her, and she has tentatively accepted.

- Kind Buds (6), a nurse who looks like the love interest from Super Troopers, full figured in the hips and pretty. Too thick for my tastes, but fun. We kissed a couple weekends ago, and a week later texted each other a bit.

Like so many young men of my generation I have succumbed to pornography. Pornography of music videos, of the women in the malls, of the night clubs; the six inch stripper heels on fashionable women; the lolita teen popstars; the gradual elimination of ugly women from every corner of public life, with men soon to follow.

And, of course, pornography itself. Gradually more and more intense, more debasing and objectifying, which may not be a bad thing. In which sex is increasingly depicted as an animal assault, penises forced rudely down open and often willing throats, then assholes, and then, if the picture is quaintly old fashioned, the vagina. The women who are so much more than the men, alive, vibrating and beautiful while they plow mutely. The women who are Barbie dolls with their inflatable breasts, high heels, neon clothing, and hairless bodies. Bondage, submission, power.

As Oscar Wilde said: “The only way to get rid of a temptation is to yield to it.” This blog is about my deliberate yielding – which, since I haven’t got the money to pay for debauchery, requires the development of a skill. Read along, shocked reader, as I develop it.
